Sunday Snap: Parisian Café

Paris Cafe | SuitcaseandHeels.com

It was my first day in Paris and this cafe on the Champs-Élysées just screamed to be photographed. I loved everything from the Haussmann style building to the French flag hung at the corner to the red wraparound awning shielding the coffee drinkers from the autumn sun. A corner Paris cafe is just so achingly French that it’s almost as if the city was saying to me “Vous êtes vraiment à Paris maintenant.”

Lovely shot. It’s such an iconic Parisian landmark. :)

Thanks! The cafes were some of my favourite things. I only wish the tea and coffee wasn’t so expensive. I come from the land of <$2 Tim Horton's tea and coffee so €5 was too rich for my blood.
