Sunday Snap: Champs-Élysées, Paris
My first day in Paris I went for a walk down the Champs-Élysées. When I got to the Arc de Triomphe I discovered that it was free to go up that day, for some reason. I also completely lucked out that there was no line at that moment. Win! Not only did I get to work off some of the French cheese I had for lunch climbing those stairs but I also got some great views over Parisian rooftops. I love the symmetry that you see so often in Paris. Thank you Georges-Eugène Haussmann for your love of gorgeous sight lines.
